Two different things, and the words get used loosely. Knowing which one you are being quoted decides whether the comparison is fair.

Wholesale price
Usually a rate for a range of standard products at volume, with a fixed specification and a stock item behind it. It is a catalogue price, not a quote.

What we quote
Project pricing. Every quote is built from your specification, and the volume break is shown on the same document so you can see where the next tier sits.

When wholesale makes sense
If your product fits a standard construction and you can commit to recurring volume. Otherwise project pricing is usually lower at a first order.
