Ask for the business licence
The registered name, address and business scope should match the company you are talking to. A trading company is not a problem in itself, but you should know which one you are buying from.
Wholesale · Factory checks
Documents, a video walkthrough, a sample and four questions. That is enough to tell a real factory from a trading office — and to know what you are buying.
Four checks
Each one is quick, and together they remove most of the risk from a first order.
The registered name, address and business scope should match the company you are talking to. A trading company is not a problem in itself, but you should know which one you are buying from.
A recorded factory tour proves less than a call where you choose what the camera looks at: the printing press, the die-cutting area, the assembly tables and the packing bay.
A sample shows board weight, colour and construction in your hand. It also shows how the supplier handles a small, low-value order — usually a good signal for the large one.
Ask what is checked, at what AQL level, and who pays for a third-party inspection. Written inspection terms protect both sides when a lot is disputed.

On the floor
Printing, die-cutting, hand assembly and packing happen in the same building in Humen, Dongguan.
Cutting, printing, finishing, assembly and quality checks are not subcontracted to separate workshops.
Rigid boxes are wrapped and assembled by hand, which is where most quality issues are caught before packing.
If a corner of the workshop is not in our photos, a scheduled video call can show it. You choose what the camera looks at.
Documentation
Paper claims are easy to make and hard to check. Here is what we can document today — and what we cannot.
We buy FSC-ready material. Chain-of-custody paperwork depends on the specific board and mill, so tell us at quoting stage and we confirm what is available for it.
Recycled and kraft stocks are available for most constructions. The exact recycled percentage is confirmed per board, not assumed.
We do not hold every certification. If your market requires a specific one, ask before ordering and we will tell you whether it applies to your order.
Material, weight and finish are listed on the quote and the invoice, so the paper in the box traces back to what you approved.
If something is wrong
Every supplier answers this differently. This is the split we work to, and it is worth asking about before the order rather than after.
If the wrong die, the wrong colour reference or the wrong revision was used on our side, we remake the order.
If the signed-off proof contains a typo or a low-resolution image, the reprint is charged. That is what the approval step is for.
If the board or laminate does not match the approved sample, it is our issue. Faulty material is replaced.
The inspection record and the packing photos show whether the fault happened before or after the cartons left the factory. From there the claim follows the freight terms.
Print and hand assembly produce slight over- or under-runs. The tolerance is stated on the quote, and the invoice follows the actual quantity.
Three photos are enough to trace a lot: the carton label, the pallet as it arrived, and three affected units.
