Board is bought to the job
A trading desk quotes from a price list. We check the board weight against your packed weight and order the sheet for the run.
Why us
We make the boxes. Board is bought to the job, printing and die-cutting run in our own workshop, and the person who answers your first email is still there at shipment.
The difference
Both can send you a quote. The difference shows up after the money moves.
A trading desk quotes from a price list. We check the board weight against your packed weight and order the sheet for the run.
Cutting dies are made and kept in our workshop. A trading desk forwards your file to a third factory and has no visibility of the die.
Every lot is checked before packing, and third-party inspection is welcome. A trading desk has to ask someone else for that access.
The same person handles the quote, the sample and the production follow-up, so nothing is lost in a handover.
What you can verify
Each of these can be checked before you place an order. None of it depends on taking our word for it.
Ask for a live video call at the press and choose what the camera looks at. A trading desk has to book that through someone else.
A repeat order is cut on the die from the first run. Ask for the die number and it will match the one on your original invoice.
Every lot carries its own check record and packing photos, taken before the cartons close.
FSC-ready and recycled content are issued against a specific mill and board, with an expiry date. We pass on the current one for your board.
From idea to sample
Not every order needs all five. A repeat size starts at step three.
Product, packed weight, quantity and the date it has to be in your warehouse.
We choose the construction and the board grade, and issue a dieline if you do not have one.
Your file is laid onto the dieline, with bleed, resolution and colour checked.
A digital sample in your board and colour, free, in about 5 days.
10-20 working days after approval, inspected before packing.
