Choosing the insert
Measure the vessel, not the wax
The widest point of the jar decides the cavity; the height decides the box depth.
Weight matters
A heavy glass jar needs a firmer insert and a thicker board than a small tin.
Leave a finger gap
A cavity that fits too tightly makes the jar hard to lift out on the counter.

- A film over the print. Gloss lifts colour, matte hides fingerprints, soft-touch feels like velvet.
- Foil / emboss / UV
- Special finishing
- Hot foil, emboss, deboss, spot UV and textured stock. Each is a separate die and a separate pass.
- Die-cut
- Insert
- The line that matters most: the cavity is cut to the widest point of the vessel, so the jar cannot move and the candle is protected in transit.
